Anti-wrinkle Treatments
Subtle, Individualised Treatment Approaches
Anti-wrinkle treatments can help reduce the appearance of existing lines and may help slow the formation of static lines over time.
Anti-wrinkle treatments are used to help soften dynamic lines and wrinkles caused by repeated facial movement. Treatment aims to support a refreshed appearance while maintaining natural facial expression.
Treatment may help reduce the appearance of existing lines and may help slow the development of deeper lines over time. Outcomes are individual and treatment is tailored following a full consultation and facial assessment.
All treatments are carried out following a comprehensive consultation to assess suitability, safety, and appropriate treatment planning.
THE PROCESS
A thorough consultation will first take place to assess suitability, review medical history, and discuss a range of potential treatment options. Any treatment provided is dependent on clinical assessment and, where applicable, prescribing authorisation.
If deemed clinically appropriate, the face and facial muscle movement are then examined in detail to guide treatment planning, determine administration points, and support the patient’s agreed aesthetic goals.
CONSULTATION
At your consultation we will address the areas of concern to determine the best treatment. The consultation process is important to each and every treatment, allowing you to express your concerns and what you hope to gain from your treatment plan. Please don’t be afraid to open up to allow for a highly personalised treatment plan to form because only then can you hope to achieve the results you desire.
PREPARATION
For best treatment outcomes and to help minimise the likelihood of bleeding or bruising at the injection site, your practitioner will advise you on any medications or supplements that may need to be avoided where medically appropriate.
You may be advised to avoid topical products such as tretinoin (Retin-A), retinols, retinoids, glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acids, or other active skincare products for approximately two days before and after treatment.
You may be advised to avoid alcohol for approximately 24 hours before and after treatment, as alcohol can increase the likelihood of bruising.

AFTERCARE
Detailed aftercare will be discussed verbally between the practitioner and patient as part of the consultation and treatment process. In addition, written aftercare instructions will be provided both before and after treatment.
The aftercare information provided on this website is for general guidance only and does not replace personalised advice given by your practitioner following your individual assessment and treatment.
• You may be advised to avoid applying makeup to the treated area for approximately 24 hours, as this may help reduce the risk of infection.
• You may be advised to avoid extremes of temperature for approximately 24 hours. For example, a lukewarm shower or bath may be recommended rather than hot water.
• You may be advised to avoid strenuous exercise or heavy physical activity for approximately 24 hours following treatment.
• You may be advised to avoid swimming pools, saunas, or steam rooms for approximately 24 hours following treatment.
• It may be recommended to limit alcohol intake on the day of treatment.
• You may be advised to remain upright for approximately 4 hours after treatment and avoid lying flat or face down during this time, as this may help reduce the risk of product movement.
• You may be advised to avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for approximately 24 hours, as this may affect treatment outcome.
• You may be advised to avoid further cosmetic treatments to the same area for approximately 2 weeks following treatment, including permanent makeup and advanced skin treatments.
If you have any unexpected symptoms or concerns following treatment, you should contact your practitioner for advice.
