A combo/hybrid brow combines the benefits of microblading, for clean, crips hairstrokes, with the outstanding colour retention of machine nano brows to achieve both a natural or bold look (and everything in between!).
At BlushBrow Studio there are many variations of combination which are tailored to the individual based on their desired look.
The main advantages of this method with is the reduction of trauma to the skin and the ability for skin types typically unsuitable (oily/porous/dry/mature), as with microblading alone, in order to achieve strong results. These hair like stokes can be applied through the entire brow, with shading in between; or at the front of the brow with a shaded body and tail etc.

THE PROCESS
The initial session will begin with a consultation in order to establish the clients preferred aesthetic as well as determining the individual’s facial expressions in order to map out the ideal brows. The initial hair strokes are added first using a microblade then the digital machine can be used to add different thickness of strokes and shading
CONSULTATION
At the start of any PMU treatment, an in-depth consultation is required to discuss your desired look and outcome. A shape and colour are accomplished, shown and agreed before tattooing them on. At your consultation we will talk through the process and pigmentation that suits your face and skin tone. The combination
PREPARATION
A brow mapping technique using golden ratio proportions that measure the distance between all points of the client’s upper face is used, whilst also trying to preserve as much of the natural brow hair as possible. In doing so a symmetrical and flattering brow, proportional to the individual’s face, is achieved. We will measure and draw on your eyebrows in pencil so you know exactly what to expect and can visually see a template of what they are going to look like. You may want to change / tweak a few changes to their personal preference as that’s how they are used to wearing them, this is no problem we will work with the client until the client is completely satisfied.
THE TREATMENT
This technique is ideal for those with very little to no natural hair as a number of techniques can be applied to provide contrast with the fluffy texture of microblading and fullness created by the machine for a realistic looking brow.
AFTERCARE
And finally, the big reveal! After your treatment is completed, we'll wipe away the excess ink and reveal your brand new eyebrows! This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship between you and your eyebrows. No more stressful morning maintenance. No more eyebrows on your pillow. Just perfect brows every day, rain or shine!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
Some swelling and redness are normal after the treatment. Don’t touch the scabs during the healing period or you risk scarring as well as ruining the treatment.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS
Allergic reactions can be prevented with the patch test you should do before the treatment. Infections are very rare, and if you experience swelling, itchiness and redness which are unusual and don’t look normal, contact us immediately
AM I SUITABLE?
The following contraindications qualify a candidate unsuitable for treatment such as Pregnant or breastfeeding, HIV, VIRAL HEPATITIS B&C or PSORIASIS as this is excessively dry skin. Tattooing is not recommended where psoriasis is at the site.
