The most common reason people decide to have permanent make up is over-zealous tweezing of the eyebrows through teenage years and early 20’s.
The main advantages of this method is the reduction of trauma to the skin and the ability for skin types typically unsuitable to other techniques (oily/porous/dry/mature). This allows us to to achieve longer-lasting, more pigmented results.

THE PROCESS
The initial session will begin with a consultation in order to establish the clients preferred aesthetic as well as determining the individual’s facial expressions in order to map out the ideal brows. As a form of semi-permanent tattoo, the powder/ombre brow is achieved by opening up the skin and depositing pigments into it. The procedure is performed with an eclectic PMU device similar to a tattoo machine which has a super-thin vibrating needle. The needle pierces the skin over and over again and implements pigments into it.
CONSULTATION
At the start of any PMU treatment, an in-depth consultation is required to discuss your desired look and outcome. A shape and colour are accomplished, shown and agreed before tattooing them on.
PREPARATION
A brow mapping technique using golden ratio proportions that measure the distance between all points of the client’s upper face is used, whilst also trying to preserve as much of the natural brow hair as possible. In doing so a symmetrical and flattering brow, proportional to the individual’s face, is achieved. We will measure and draw on your eyebrows in pencil so you know exactly what to expect and can visually see a template of what they are going to look like. You may want to change / tweak a few changes to their personal preference as that’s how they are used to wearing them, this is no problem we will work with the client until the client is completely satisfied.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
Generally considered non-invasive, the nano eyebrow procedure is quite safe if done properly.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS
Allergic reactions to pigments are very rare, but they do happen. A patch test done before the procedure eliminates this possibility. Whenever the skin is opened, there’s a certain risk of infection. Plus, any type of tattooing carries a small risk of permanent scarring if the needle goes too deep or if the skin is overworked.
AM I SUITABLE?
The following contraindications qualify a candidate unsuitable for treatment such as Pregnant or breastfeeding, HIV, VIRAL HEPATITIS B&C or PSORIASIS as this is excessively dry skin. Tattooing is not recommended where psoriasis is at the site.
