DesoFace® Fat Dissolving
Slimming & Contouring
DESOFACE® is the newest body fat dissolving injection formula available on the market, the second generation of 'fat dissolvers' designed to treat and reduce localised 'pockets' of fat with permanent results.
DESOFACE® works by breaking down fat cells in carefully selected areas where fat can be resistant to diet and exercise. Once treated, these fat cells are naturally processed and eliminated by the body over time, helping to create a more contoured and refined appearance. Results develop gradually, producing a natural-looking improvement rather than sudden or dramatic change.
This treatment is particularly suited to small, localised areas of concern and is commonly used to improve facial contour, jawline definition and other targeted areas where precision fat reduction is required. A course of treatments may be recommended for optimal, long-lasting results, depending on individual goals and the area being treated.
Each DESOFACE® treatment is planned following a full consultation and assessment to ensure suitability and safety. Treatment plans are tailored to the individual, with a strong emphasis on achieving balanced, natural results while preserving facial harmony.

PREPARATION
For optimal results, and to minimize the chance of bleeding or bruising at the injection site, please avoid all blood-thinning medications and supplements for one week prior to your appointment. This includes over-the-counter medication such as aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen, and Aleve. Also avoid herbal supplements such as garlic, vitamin E, ginko biloba, St. John's Wort and omega-3 capsules.
If medically advised, please check with your doctor prior to stopping use of aspirin.

AFTERCARE
You can resume your normal daily activities after fat dissolving treatment. Immediately following the treatment you may notice some redness, swelling, tenderness and a painful sensation in the treated area, as well as numbness from the local anaesthetic (if used). These symptoms generally improve significantly over the next few days. The swelling occasionally may last for up to 2 weeks. Drink plenty of fluids after treatment, you should aim for at least 2 litres per day. Avoid makeup for 24 hours and any creams or skin oils, this will reduce the risk of infection at the injection sites. A cold compress may help with swelling and inflammation.
